The beautiful but tough Pleasington GC provided a challenge in the July sunshine, in terms of golf and a stiff yomp through the beautiful countryside, in which the course is situated. The scenery is in my opinion outstanding.
This year's JULY TROPHY was won by John Wilson on his home course with 42 points, which included a 2. Second was Kevin O'Donnell with 39 pts and John Warham was third with 37 points.
Nearest the pin in 2 was won by Dean Straker who took home the tasty date and ginger cake. Longest drive was Chris Edwards, and NTP was John Wilson, who filled his car's boot with his winnings!
The Society plans to return here next year, to one of the best course in the area.
